I'd tend to agree with you that 30.06 notice may not apply here. I'm not sure if telling you that they do not allow guns would give them any legal recourse as regards eviction if they found out thay you have guns in your apartment. I'd tend to lean towards them not being able to evict you for it since you would not be in violation of the language of the rental agreement, but maybe someone with some knowledge of property law and renter's rights could chime in.
