Re: Majority want gun registry in some states
Funny thing about polls. If you pick the right people you can get a majority to say what ever you want.

Re: Rights lost I don't understand this
Good time to bring up something all of us should know. The Police are not there to help you, they are there to collect evidence. NOTHING in the Miranda Right is for you "Anything you say may be used against you", doesn't say a thing about helping you. Even as a wittiness you have to be car...

Re: How many of us will be renewing just after Sept 1?
I think this takes care of the backlog from Sept 1 HB48: Relating to the procedure under which a person may renew a license to carry a concealed handgun. Impact: 1) Removes the requirement to take a renewal course to renew a CHL; 2) Allows a person to continue to carry a handgun in Texas on an expir...

Is there something wrong with the air in and around Austin? There must be a lack of oxygen or something, maybe too much mercury in the water..

You should. You probably committed several felonies this week and don't even know it. http://www.timesdispatch.com/opinion/our-opinion/columnists-blogs/bart-hinkle/hinkle-commit-any-felonies-lately/article_58344fc1-7d4f-584a-8d16-36a1b1f2cdc0.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return fa...

Re: GE Capital Cuts Off Lending to Gun Shops
Lowe's uses GE Capital for their credit cards and business accounts.
I have already called and canceled my Lowe's Account and told them I could not do business with a company that opposed my Constitutional rights. I'll do the same with any other business I find using GE Capital

Re: Motorcycle carry in parking lot
Using a vest or jacket is one way to move your carry from person to trunk, another is with a rag or towel. I keep a hand towel in the trunk that I use to wipe the bike down and such, I also use it to move my weapon from my carry location to the trunk. I just hold the towel in the middle and allow it...
