Another El Pasoan here. If you like boring weather you'll love it here - no hurricanes, no earthquakes, we get snow maybe once every 2-3 years (and it's a record snowfall if it lasts more than 2-3 days before complete melt-off.) Our only weather issue is the spring winds, which can go from a balmy 10-15 mph to over 40-50 mph in March/April. Lots of sunshine.

We have several good gunshops here, and some good CHL instructors as well.
