Well I didn't talk to the actual Senator.
I called her office, and the gentlemen that answered directed me to the liaison and told me that she has helped people before with their CHL. I left her a message, she was in Austin for sessions, I thought this was the dead end. BUT to my delight she called me back this evening. I told her how long I have been waiting, she got my DL# and app. #. She also told me that she was excited about my message because its easy to take care of CHL's, the applications are apparently pretty easy to track down. She told me she would call the DPS first thing tomorrow to get mine on the fast track and call me back. She couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. I suggest anyone who has been waiting a long time call their Senator's office.
