Texas, you sound surprised that something like this would happen in your neighborhood. Stop and put yourself in a criminals shoes for a moment, if you were going to rob someone who would you pick, someone who lives in a run down low income neighborhood or someone who lives in a nice upscale neighborhood. How many times have you seen the news after a break in and they are interviewing the other neighbors and you hear one of them say "I just cant believe something like this could happen here, this is such a nice neighborhood". Sometimes it helps to think like a criminal, would you want to rob a house in an area where you know people dont have alot of money; or do you hit the area that you know people will have alot of nice expensive toys in their house?I can't get Mrs. Oldgringo, et al, to accept that just because it's never happened here before, that doesn't mean that it can't happen today, tomorrow or any other time in the future.
