Re: URGENT, a Bill on knives could protect your CHL
san Antonio has had a law against laockblde knoves for years. It is only enforced agaimst the "gang" members. Even the city (silly) council stated they would not enforce it against a businessman in business attire (suit). Soon after they passed this, a gang person shot someone with a Colt...

Re: Campus-Carry Bills are dying!!!
Not happy about the delay, but better in 2010 than never. Having worked in Academia many moons ago I can understand the need for a year to get their act together. Most people running a university can't wipe their rear without forming a special committee to determine what kind of toilet paper to use,...

Same here, but I did it anyways.Vic303 wrote:Done! But I personally suspect mine won't be a supporter of 1164...Any correspondence I have had from her on 2A issues have always been weak and waffling.

Re: Company policy bans posession of a gun
Yes that was what I meant, legal as in they can fire you for violating company policy. Both my wife and I work for such places, and frankly it makes having a CHL rather pointless. I am glad to hear that there is a bill looking to change this. What is the name of the bill, and is there anything a pri...

Company policy bans posession of a gun
Is it legal for a company to ban Employee possession of any gun (handgun or otherwise) from keeping it in their car while on property such as a company parking lot?
This would be per a company policy that is in an employee handbook.

Re: Certified mail or regular mail?
Once the check or money order clears, that's as good of proof of receiving the packet as being certified except you won't have a name of a person receiving it. Hah, that actually the logic I used when I sent in my C&R app. I did the apply online deal, so they already hit the CC. It makes ...

I am looking for a FFL in the San Antonio that can transfer in few Mosin Nagants for me, since I don't have a C & R license yet. I know Wetmore does it for $20 / each, but I am looking at getting about 6 rifles, so thats over $100 in xfer fees. Traveling to Austin area is not a problem. I love e...

Should this be listed?
Back in 1992 when I was 16, I got a ticket for jumping the turnstile to the subway back in NYC (I forgot my student pass in school and didn't have any money). I was afraid to tell my parents, and quietly got the money and mailed in the payment. Never heard a word about it again. In 1993, same thing ...
