Getting to Minnesota was stupidity...wanting to go back to Texas? Yes, in the worst way, but with the housing market like it is now, I'd loose my shirt selling my home. Equity has dropped over $60,000.00. Doesn't cost anything to dream and reminisce though.

Well, I learned of this forum from one of the Senior Members here from another forum. I've been reading throughout the day to the point my eyes are about to fall out...burning and itching, but very interesting reading. The format is quite different from the other forums, but I'm getting acclimated to it.

My name is Stan, I'm an ex-police officer from the Houston area (Baytown). I'm retired and currently living in Minnesota (Kind word for FROST BITE FALLS). I've been married for 42 + years, two Children, eight Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren. Besides being a licensed peace officer and carried a weapon at all times for years, I am now a holder of the CCW (Utah) permit that covers 28 states which includes the state of Texas through reciprocity. I'm looking forward to participating within this forum.
