This is exactly what my (LEO) CHL instructor told us. He dislikes the MPA because it so relaxed the restriction to "traveling" that anyone could have a gun in the car, provided it was concealed. His argument was that this makes it harder to arrest gang members and those involved in organized crime, because they can 'hide' a gun in the car and not be nabbed for it, unless they are stopped in the commission of another crime.seamusTX wrote:Some officers do not like the fact that the unwashed masses can now carry a handgun in a vehicle without a CHL or other prior government approval.
