Re: Dallas Deputy Sheriff
Yeah, I would have been fine with a ticket, although it would have been the first ticket that I would have received because I really did overlook the sign. All my other tickets I knew I was either knowingly speeding, or not obeying traffic laws so I really deserved it. ninemm,: I think I was r...

Conceal a shotgun
A LEO friend of mine works the worst part of our town so he has some interesting stories both good and bad. When our families get together for dinner it usually ends with the girls talking girl stuff and my friend telling me stories of his nightly patrols. Some are serious and some get us laughing t...

Dallas Deputy Sheriff
Got pulled over in Dallas tonight on the way home from some friends wedding festivities around 9:45 with my wife in tow. Leaving a nice neighborhood I quickly found myself in a bad neighborhood with confusing street layouts which is the usual for me when I am navigating Dallas (its not like this in ...

Re: CHLer shootout with burger king robber
Update: For those of us carrying .380's --- yikes! CHL took 3 hits of .380 from robber, robber took unknown shots from glock 19 9mm. CHL lives, robber dies. You guys are right, tactically a disaster. I wouldn't speak to or otherwise engage the bad guy until I had him in my sights and could act befor...

Re: November '08 Applications
Got my plastic in hand today. Would feel a little nervous carrying in public for the first time, but its 40 degrees and jackets REALLY cover up IWB holsters. I might feel a little nervous next time it warms up. You guys werent kidding about the anti climactic DPS packaging for the plastic. Card stoc...

Re: November '08 Applications

In fact, I have this habit of closing the web page so fast out of frustration that I bet the day it changes, I will just zip through my routine so fast that I wont even notice the change! Probably h...
