Several years ago, I too would get the "eye roll" from my wife. Our family and friends
have always hunted and had firearms. So, having guns was a non issue. Carrying 24/7?
She didn't quite get "it". However, as time has passed she has frequently asked if I was
armed. Always the answer is yes. We went for a evening walk the other night and my wife
actually reached over and patted my right hip (directly on top of my carry)...she smiled and
said "just checking, it's dark and we're not really close to the house". I just grinned and
realized she really did "get it". Give your wife some time. I'm wanting mine to get her
CHL. I've taken her shooting (range) twice this year. Always a Ruger .22 auto. As she
becomes comfortable, I will make small increases in caliber. Small steps before you run
