Re: Public road - Federal Property ?
What the heck is a NASA ticket? Are these actual cops? A NASA ticket is no more then points, speeding is 3 to 5 points, you get 10 points and you can not drive on-site for 10day.. not a big deal.. But, my understanding is that thy cannot pull you over on Public road, I don't believe there are any f...

Here is a question.. I'm told that "Saturn Ln" in Webster, TX, is "Technically Speaking" Federal property. could this be true ? This is what happened, one day on my way out the front gate of NASA, turning right on Saturn Lane, I find myself pulled over by a NASA security patrol c...

Re: Gun dropped in Target - Galveston - and BANG
Have any heard of a revolver that was not cocked able to release the hammer and discharge? All the old revolvers would fire if you dropped it on the un-cocked hammer. That is why Ruger's transfer bar safety was such a big innovation in their New Model Single Actions. It is also why the standard saf...

Re: Gun dropped in Target - Galveston - and BANG
The way the story reads, and my understanding, it was indeed in the holster, and it fell to the ground, holster and gun. And in this only makes sense the hammer hit the ground muzzle up.. The personal story was, the holster and gun hit the ground.. :headscratch IF this is the case, he is one lucky m...

Re: Gun dropped in Target - Galveston - and BANG
There was a similar incident with a .380 in DFW a few years back that involved an elderly gentleman in a church. The "story" was that the gun discharged when it hit the floor. IIRC, subsequent investigation revealed the bullet entered through the top of his foot. I noticed the article abo...

Re: Gun dropped in Target - Galveston - and BANG
The problem I see, with him running out, some other CHL, might think BG and shoot him.. :fire :cryin Not a smart move.. I wonder, how we can find his court date, I would like to see what the judge finds him, and accident, or neglected... A question, the police took his CHL, so do they report that to...
