Look at Scott Peterson's eyes or Ted Bundy's. Notice the soulless look, the total lack of empathy. There's something inhuman there.

Kinda like the look in my kids eyes when I ask them if they got their school work done....

The problem can be in knowing how "no good" they are. A salesman who's planning to scam you may have the same look as a mugger using a salesman cover to get close. Unfortunately, shooting the salesman is frowned upon.

Or even a certain riding mower salesman! <g>.......

That's because they're probably home schooled. Studies show that home schooled kids are less likely to experience teen sex, teen pregnancy, bullying, and score much higher on the SAT. I was told that our kids would grow up to be wimps if they were homeschooled and not bullied in the public system. I suggested that I could just bully them in homeschool as part of their training... I was then told no, that would be child abuse....hmmmmmm. BTW, my full scholarshiped 2 sons also fared better on the ACT. One to OSU and one at ASU. The next one only got a measly $14,000 scholarship, the slacker. Should have bullied him more!

As to LDS, my experience is they seem to like to go up and talk to people in public a lot now. Perhaps they feel it is less threatening.
Several times in my neighborhood park I have had them come up. Last couple times it has been 2 young women each time (they have to be older to go as women).

They may sometimes be, but apparently not required, as the last 2 groups of their women doorknocking were probably 19-22 and had nametags of "sis so-in-so"

All I have ever seen still have tags, including the ladies. I usually look for the tags, as they all say "elder" so in so on the young men, and I often start my discussion to them with that.
