That part is do-able, that one side needed some trimming. BUT now the grips are thicker than the stock, so that the factory screw will not reach through to the other side and engage the other side of the grip. These appear a special sized screw, so don't know of anything aftermarket that would be longer to reach and then fit the threading of the made in the grip nut. Hope this makes sense.
