Thank you all for your input. I will try your suggestions as well as one that an old reloading buddy told me to try. He said to use sorball ( oil dry ) for media in my tumbler. I have some once fired .223 military brass that is really discolored. I've run it through my vibrator with crushed walnut hulls and its pretty clean now but theres still a lot of discoloration. I also use Acurate 2230 powder loading 223 ammo for my Car-15. It dumps vary precisely in my Dillon 650. Be sure to start with the minimum load and work up though. Even the medium loads were pretty hot in my rifle. I'm so satisfied with the acuracy I havent even tried another powder.

Hi. I'm brand new to this forum. In fact this is my first post. I've been using the old dupont #7 car polish in my tumbler for years and it works great. Also, it's pretty cheap. It doesn't seem to leave any wax or residue on my cases. Try it. I think you'll like it. I hope this was helpful. Happy sh...
