Re: Ruger 10/22 opinions

I agree Skinny B78, I shot mine last night and had more fun than I ought to. If you see a big guy on a scooter, come say hi. So far I've had no trouble carrying a rifle over my shoulder to PSC, but I only live a mile away :coolgleamA: .

Here it is finished.

Re: Ruger 10/22 opinions

I just bought this 10/22 at Carter's Country, it was on sale. I installed a 3x9 scope and a tactical light on the lower front rail, to say this thing is fun in an understatement. Just stay with Butler Creek or Ruger mags, the others are inferior IMO, especially the 50 round side by side clear mags, lots of malfuctions but none withe Steel Lips mags so far. I have lots of experience with 10/22 mags since I have an Intertec TEC-22 that uses them and Butler Creek Steel Lips are the best. It came with 2 stocks, an angled one like the pic and a straight one, I like the straigth one. I know it's overkill but it sure is fun :woohoo and my range has a .22 rimfire only range that is barely used so that makes it even more fun.
