The officer walked up and I got the "I'm officer so-and-so" and do you realize how fast you were going!! I am not saying this to make it sound like he was being full of himself, just to explain that I was apparently in a world of trouble. Anyway, He told me that in addition to my speed, my sticker had expired and they are suppose to put call a tow truck and put me in jail for that. License and insurance please.....
I have been having a very hard time lately and quite frankly my mind was a million miles away from this. Anyway, Handed him my CHL and license. He asked if I had a weapon on me and I said "of course!" and told him where it was. I told him that I would have to lean over where the weapon was to get my insurance and he said fine.
All of my stuff came back legit (I had my sticker just hadnt put it on yet--waiting for my inspection and letting them put on both). Anyway, he, surprisingly said to slow it down and handed me my stuff back.
I know that the CHL isnt a get out of jail free card, but I really dont see any other reason for him to do that. Way to go Keller PD
