Re: maybe an old topic, anyway to geussestimate life of reloaded ammo
I'm still shooting .357 and .38's that I loaded in 92', and , they have been stored in a shed with no AC , never a misfire or any issue. They have been kept in airtight ammo cans though.

Re: Revolvers
Just retired my SW .38 Special Airweight for a Ruger LCR in .327 Federal magnum. Absolutely love it, I get a somewhat more powerful cartridge and an extra round . Finding Ammo is a bit of a chore though.

Thanks TAM! Never heard of such a thing, but I just ordered one, and will report back with what I find when it gets in.

Re: New AR build keyholing
Thanks for all the feedback : it's a 1 in 9 twist, I have tried 2 different kinds of ammo in it, 55 grain reloads, and 62 grain S. African Ball which shoots great in all my other AR's. The crown looks good, and the barrel bore is 5.56. One major thing I omitted is that I am test firing it with a dir...

New AR build keyholing
Anyone ever have a brand new AR barrel Keyhole right out the box? Just built and new AR with a DMPS barrel (maybe that's the problem) that keyholes at 50 yards with both 55 grain and 62 grain loads. I guess I'm pulling it and putting a FN on it, never had problem with those.

Re: 18 1/2" Barrel for Mossberg Model 500 in 20 Gauge
I have run into the same issue trying to find a 18.5 for my Mossberg 500 in 12 gauge. My wife called Mossberg last week and they told her they were 1-2 months out on 18.5 barrels. I bought a hunting length barrel brand new for $90 on ebay and cut it down to 19" this weekend. Works great .

IHC Garand for sale
I have a CMP IHC Garand I have had since 99' asking $1,500. Has had about 100 rounds though it since I bought it. Will throw in a couple bandoleers of AMMO. Serial number is 455930X. Its in good condition with minimal barrel wear. It is lead penciled indicating it was gone through at Led army depot ...

Re: Thoughts on a Taurus .44 Mag revolver
Very kind gesture giving her more than the asking price.. that being said, I’ve owned 2 Taurus revolvers, a 3” .38 that I’ve never had a problem with, and a Raging Bull in .454 that had to go back after it locked up after a few years. By locked up I mean the cylinder started binding after about 3-40...

Re: Stand Alone ER's / Rip Offs or ...?
I took my wife to one about a year back when she sustained a severe knife cut to her hand. They did not accept my insurance, but there was 0 wait, I had no problem paying cash. All in all, she received several stitches , and a checkup visit for 500 if I remember right. I’d do it again to avoid waiti...

Re: Store Owner Charged with Attempted Murder
I'm glad no one shot me when I was a stupid teenager stealing beer from beer trucks in parking lots. I would never shoot anyone over stolen property, period. Just me.

I bought a Hardened arms upper a few years back on gunbroker in .300 BO, many hundreds, maybe a thousand rounds through it with no issues.

Re: Your most “American” gun on this 4th of July
My very early flat bolt inland carbine, in fact, took it out today and let the daughters boyfriend shoot it. still shoots great after all these years.
