I studied Aiki-jujitsu, which is strictly a self-defense martial art. It requires the aggressor to make the first move and heavily relies on the element of surprise. That's kinda my approach with the hand gun as well. You'll never know what I can do until you give me reason to show it.
To each his own though.
I think it would be nice to sit in a restaurant, intentionally remove my cover garment, and not worry about an OWB or even a just-visible handle on an IWB. You can use open carry rights discreetly.
I'd still conceal for most activities.
