Another forum I'm on usually has "make an avatar for me" threads. After thinking long and hard [pun] about an avatar, I chose one that makes what I feel is an historically critical observation, one that has affected military small-arms tactics from the late 19th century through today. To wit: Auguste Rodin did not know the first thing about proper sling-carry methods with an AR.
