Re: West Houston THIS SUNDAY LSSA Match
For those shooting revolvers....revolvers are divided as well into moonclip and other loading devices (think ESR and SSR)

West Houston THIS SUNDAY LSSA Match
West Houston Shooters Association will be putting on a specialty match THIS SUNDAY 3/18/12.
WHAT: LSSA (Lone Star Shooting Association) match. The best way most can visualize this type of match is a USPCA/IPSC match with easy scoring. Unlimited mags on belt, drop mags as you wish, fault lines, no use of cover or concealment. Scoring: threats are either neutralized or not. One center mass hit neutralizes or two hits anywhere on target neutralizes. Failure to Neutralize = 5 seconds. Match Director has discression to offer bonus on paper targets. (this match will offer bonus) If shooter neutralizes a paper threat with a center mass hit, one bonus per paper target is awarded. A bonus is equal to 0.5 seconds taken off of the shooter's time. No limit on No-shoots. Hit on No-shoot = 10 seconds. Match Director has option of limiting loading of mags to 10 or unlimited. (this match will be max of 10 rounds in mags with max of 11 to start) Divisions are divided by gun and caliber. No division for classification. Example: you bring a 1911 that is stock with NO CHANGES AT ALL you will shoot stock heavy (heavy is for 40/45). If you shoot a stock glock in 9mm, you would be shooting stock medium. If you have ANY CUSTOM WORK DONE then you are shooting Enhanced. Caliber once again will be light (380 and below) medium (38/9mm/etc) Heavy (40/45) Magnum (yep 357/44mag/etc) That's the rules brother, all of them <G>
WHERE: Imact Zone Driving instructions on West Houston Shooter Association website or Imact Zone Range website.
WHEN: Sunday 3/18/12 with hammer down at 9am. Expect to finish noon-1pm. If you can help set up be there 7-7:30.....THANKS IN ADVANCE
Round count: Each scenario will have 18-24 threats. Will be setting up 3 scenarios and we will be running them at least twice. One all steel with 20-24 that need to be knocked down. (approx 100-200 rounds)
Cost: Normal West Houston Range fee of 20 bucks for non-member and 15 for West Houston Member.
Other questions: either here or send to solari@prodigy.net
Look forward to shooting with you. This is gunslinging at it's best and most fun. High round count, fun scenarios and EASY SCORING.
