It's S.F.P.D Not sure where it actually came from, as SFPD could be many different departments. My dad bought it many yrs ago from a guy he knew that needed money, the typical story.. My dad stashed it away in his gun safe for the longest time and never shot it. I shot it a few times and loved it, so he gave it to me.
I'd like to know it's history, where it came from and things like that. I dont care to know what it may have been used for or things of that nature. Just what to know it's story. If it wasn't for that, I would have had it refinished long ago..

Not sure how often I'll carry this, but I will from time to time.. I've carried that thing for many yrs as a sidearm while hunting. Used to be a service revolver too, so it's been around.. Great shooting gun though.. Haven't decided if I want to get it refinished or just leave it alone. Has character as it sits...
