Re: Violent crime decrease attributable to Obama?

Has there actually been a violent crime decrease and since when? Based on this forum's postings a person would think we are poised on anarchy. Statistics have shown over the past years that murder rates in a lot of areas have reduced. However, in many areas assaults, robberies and burglaries have b...

Re: LCP Recall

I have a stick mag similar to that for my commander. Muzzle rise is more of a swing at each shot. As the mag empties the bucking gets tighter. Probably not as severe in 380 as 45 due to weight and recoil. Still fun in an out-of-control way.

Re: Question about borrowing a gun...

I would recommend taking him to a pawn shop and looking for an inexpensive shot gun. I bet you could find something decent for $150- $200. If he is a close friend and you want to loan him something, I think you are safe. Big word of caution, make sure you give him a trigger lock of some sort incase...

I see faith as working side-by-side common sense also. Even the Popemobil has bullet-proof glass.

Re: help with suggesting self-protection

I often hear "faith" being the reason not to actively prep for something. What can you say to that?

Re: Smith & Wesson Model 617 Anyone?

That part about spending $1000 to save money shooting .22 isn't quite the way it works. That 617 will always be worth what you pay for it. It's like owning a classic car - you drive it for free, excepting gas and oil. With a nice gun, all it costs you over time is the price of the ammo. Most guns h...

Re: Smith & Wesson Model 617 Anyone?

I like to shoot 22s because they're cheap but if you go in the hole for almost $1000 for the gun I'm not sure you will ever break even in your lifetime. It does look impressive though.

Re: Curious - Is this Forum Evidence?

I assume I'm not invisable and act/ type accordingly. My interest in CHL issues wouldn't fly with everyone I deal with so this forum adds a little cover for that reason. I would never bare my soul or give a confession in a place where I have no control or I'm unsure who I'm talking with.

What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. Welp she did pretty good if I do say so myself! the gun was a little long for her so she had to hold it under her arm instead of on her shoulder. She didn't want to leave and wanted to keep going (What have I started!?! lol)! now for the pics! http://www.graficka.net/coppermine/annie/pictures/album...

Re: Bradys help write the news again?

Please.....Gun Control does Work.....look at the UK ,since they have banned guns, knife crime has gone through the roof, more people get stabbed in the UK than anywhere else in the world. Geeze.....DUH! As a matter of fact there was a poor family in London recently where criminals were posing as pi...

Re: 8 years in State Prison

How many of you remember Michael Fay? He was a teenage punk who went on a graffiti crime spree in Singapore in the early ninety's. He got caught and was sentenced to 6 lashes with a cane. The American public freaked out by the horror. Personally, I think that is a lot better an option than prison. ...
