Until recently, I have occasionally carried my LCP when I'm in shorts and tee shirt. No more. This and the recent .380ACP situation (71 year old hero in Florida) has caused me to completely retire my LCP. Henceforth it will only be a backup gun. It never occurred to me to go out the back door, but you're right, that's probably the best solution to a terrifyingly bad scenario.

Yesterday I saw this story out of Jacksonville, FL about a "flash mob" of 300+ animals participating in what appears to be an all out riot/party/destructive food fight at their local walmart. Previously that night the police had broken up their party, and these people reconvened at walmart to continue their fun.

I've been contemplating this over and over again, and I just can't imagine what I would do in this scenario if I found myself suddenly in such a situation with my family in tow. Aside from avoiding going out at night, what can one do if suddenly faced with such huge numbers of potentially violent individuals?
