I respectfully disagree. We preserve food in times of plenty so that we will have it available to us in lean times. In times of surplus, we set aside money for future unknown needs. Your logic would say that just because it's summer, my tummy is full and I have plenty of food, don't worry about tomorrow. That's the grasshopper's logic.

This is the kind of stuff that scares me. History says registration is the last step before confiscation.

Does this bill have any chance of being passed? Anybody know?
