How to tell the age of ammo and does it matter?
I may be overthinking this... Long story short a friend passed away recently and his wife gave me a bunch of his "gun stuff", mostly ammo. Among the ammo was some Winchester White Box 9mm 115gr in the "value pack" boxes of 100. Factory not reloaded. Had been stored on shelves in ...

Buying the display gun...
Probably overthinking this, but figured I'd toss it out there just in case. My friendly neighborhood gun store had a gun that was calling my name. Only problem was the only one they had was the one in the display - the one out there for everybody to play with. Now, they're not a range so it wasn't b...

Re: IWB Holster Recommendations...
No, I wouldn't try to pocket the Glock 19, that's just what I want to IWB. I would pocket carry something like a Ruger LCP or something like that. I don't own a pocket-carry gun at the moment, but that's fixable.

Re: IWB Holster Recommendations...
Great information. I appreciate all the thoughtful responses.
Based on y'alls feedback I have some leads to investigate. May also look into pocket carry options based on some comments I heard.
Thanks!

Re: IWB Holster Recommendations...
Interesting ideas so far which I appreciate. My circumstances have changed and so I'm needing to adjust how I carry my stuff. IWB makes sense for me, but I'm certainly open to suggestions. My typical dress is either a tshirt with shorts or jeans (weekend) or a polo tucked into jeans (workdays). I mo...

IWB Holster Recommendations...
I'm sure others have asked this before, but.. I'm looking to move to IWB holsters for my EDC. As a um.. plump American. Not as plump as I used to be, but still got some way to go. If anyone has recommendations of products to consider that would be great. Likewise, if there's any tips that any other ...

Question about this new bill in the US Senate...
So I am not a lawyer, but one aspect of this bill worries me in particular. Am I reading this wrong? Today, if you were "adjudicated delinquent" of a crime that would be a felony if committed by an adult, that does NOT count as a felony conviction once you're an adult. Some states may limi...

Question about red dots on pistols...
If you buy a pistol with a red dot from the factory, is it zeroed from the factory, or do you have to sight it in?

Re: BCM vs DD
Very interesting.
I'll admit that the BCM RECCE-14 MCMR in particular looks like a very fun gun to shoot. hmmmm

BCM vs DD
Hey guys,
So I'm interested in getting a "nice" AR15. I've had my eye on Daniel Defense and BCM as candidates in that category and I'm doing my research. Do any of y'all have much to say about either that might tip the scales one way or the other?
Thanks!

Re: Best of the West Rifle?
That stinks. I've had my eye on a new rifle and BotW was my go-to place to sight things in and get to know my new toys.. err...equipment.

Best of the West Rifle?
Hey
So Best of the West in Liberty Hill's website says its rifle range is closed. Anybody know why?
It's not really my business, but I'm nosy.
