Method and the right holster.. I'm tall and thin-ish and hide a full sized PX4 without any trouble, and I can do it with a t-shirt as a cover garment.

It's a display thing. The rod (or pen or whatever) props the gun up for a more photogenic angle, or for a "cooler" display in the case.

This will be my daily carry as soon as I'm able.
Beretta PX4 Storm, .40 S&W. It was purchased as a model F, which I converted to a model G. (It no longer has a manual safety, the levers are decockers only). The levers and the slide lever are all low profile replacements of the stock and I replaced the factory plastic guide rod with a stainless guide rod. Shoots like a dream.
