Like the 'Holy Grail" we are all in search of the perfect holster. In addittion to all the usual requirements I am handicapped by a bad hip and my rather rotund (read fat) body shape. The hip is the biggest problem since without trying I can never tell what is going to press on a nerve just the wrong way.
I will definately plan a trip to Champions in the near future, thanks for the suggestion.
By the way the most comfortable holster I'vr found so far is a Tucker IWB, the downside being it is a soft leather holster and somewhat difficult to return the pistol to the holster.

Lets just let this die. Surely there are more important things to dicusss - anyone contemplating purchasing a new gun?

I need to get a holster for my Rock Island Compact 1911; If a holster fits another brand compact model can I assume it will fit the RI? If I need to do a "fit and try" who has the best selection? I am located near I45 and 242 intersection.
