After reading more of the stories here yesterday, I decided to give em a call today and find out my status. I give the lady my social then she proceeded to ask me if I had mailed in the missing information.
I told her that someone had already told me that they had already received them and just had to update the website. Apparently there was no record of my calling in and no way for her to know who told me that info. So not only does one hand not know what the other hand is doing, but the fingers on the same hand are all doing their own thing.
Any suggestions on how I should proceed? I don't want to cry to my state rep yet since I did screw up and had to resubmit my app, but over a month after me sending it in and no one getting to it seems a bit ridiculous. Maybe I should have included another check.
For my renewal, it took them 1 month to reflect having received my application. I think they pick up the mail daily, but don't check what they got until they start working on it. I would say it takes them 1 month to acknowledge receiving ANYTHING.
