I've read a lot of posts on various boards about Kimber problems.
I have not had a single problem with my Ultra Carry II as far as FTF's or FTE's, etc. Smooth as silk with Wilson mags.
The one thing I have noticed that seems odd is how often the OEM left side external safety is accidentally flipped off. I have tried several holsters, some have leather covering the safety, some the safety is above any leather and not making contact. Galco, DeSantis, OWB and IWB, no difference, the safety switch still gets flipped off.
My love handles are not that big, but that is the only answer I can come up with.... just a little rubbing on that side of the weapon.
I have learned to check it preiodically !

DragonKat,
I don't have a CDP, but I do carry an Ultra Carry II.
Have not had it that long, but I have quickly grown attached to it. No problems thus far and it sure is a lightweight carry. I traded one of my Glocks off and replaced it with the Kimber.... have carried nothing but the Kimber since.
My other guns might be feeling a little lonely lately, LOL !
