While it is good to know all the intricacies of the foul play that has transpired, in the end...the answer is much simpler:
Moral Decay!
Most 'politicians' will bend to corruption, dishonesty or deceit to achieve personal gain. Few would relinquish or put at risk their 'Job' in order to do the right thing.
Many Gov't officials are guilty of the same.
Few are those who still possess the integrity and fortitude to stand against 'pressure' when things get tough. I could count on one hand the number of their ilk....that I still have any respect for. Republican, Democrat, Independent.......just different names for the same malady.
Should we be surprised at what we are seeing? I think not. We are reaping what has been sown.

Re: Hillary found to be extrememly careless, but not criminal
Even if this were true...no other 'conversation' was needed. A/G got her 'start' because of the Clinton's. Nothing had to be 'said'. The message was 'delivered' the moment Bill entered her private plane.Jusme wrote:Still think the AG meeting with Slick Willy was just talking about grandkids?![]()
I could do the same thing with my Daughter, IF she were to do something I didn't approve of, I wouldn't need to even bring it up, let alone talk about it (though we would). A simple 'knowing look' would be readily understood and acknowledged.

The 'fix' was in months ago folks.rotor wrote:The fix is in.
The A/G was just 'priming' us recently when she said "she would accept the recommendation of the FBI". POTUS, A/G and the Clinton's all knew....there would be nothing to worry about.
In the end...have the head of the FBI make a somewhat scathing speech, then turn her loose.
Too much at stake (politically) for it to turn out any other way.
