If that figure is accurate (or even close) then I must recant a statement I made about a month ago...when I said there was no real buying "frenzy" going on. At that time...I heard on a news report that stating most retailers were reporting 10-12% increases in sales (not exactly a frenzy).
But 40+ percent is indeed significant. GOOD FOR US!
