I really appreciate all that had a hand in making this a really informative and festive evening.

Carl,

Did we get enough money to pay for Charles airfare?

Joe
He drove instead of flying. I will let him answer if had enough or not.

Mr. Cotton did a fantastic job. Thank you to all who attended. You made everything great. A seminar with no students would not be good!

So, does this mean we have to come in our "Sunday go to meetin' clothes"?
No I thought I would just tell everyone it was Hawaii Luau because I am sure we will have several Hawaiian shirts Image

What is our current headcount? Should I bring my own chairs just in case?

Thanks,

OK LOOKS LIKE A CROWD! Those who are in good health please use the parking in the back of the Church. When that fills up we will use a parking lot that is 1/2 block West of my Church and you will have to walk. I will have a man showing you where the extra parking is. The front parking is reserved for the older folks and the handicap. We will also use the side of the Church for the older and handicap. It looks like we will be full. I am having chairs put out. I think we will have room, but the over flow may not be able to see the screen. The Front Doors of the Church will be unlocked at 6:00PM. We will take breaks for refreshments (Church Provided). Just so everyone knows there are NO VIDEO CAMERA'S ALLOWED during the lecture time.

Greybeard will be there a little early so we can have name tags. Looking forward to a great time.

P.S. The more that car pool the better parking will be. Please do not forget we will take up money to reimburse Mr. Cotton for his expenses :hurry:

We'll be driving over after work and will want to stop for supper before the Seminar, can you recommend anything good near your church? We like everything (mexican, thai, american, italian) and we really LIKE finding good local hole in the walls!

thanks!
Regina & Janne (aka Mr & Mrs Fosforos)
Right across the street in Angelo's. They serve several things, but their specialty is Italian. It is not expensive either.

In Staples this morning and got 400 name tags. (Can use leftovers for classes.)

Two Freedom Plan people out at range this morning - one of 'em another CHL instructor. Add Quinn and Bonnie to the list.

Greybeard wrote: Aug. 17 is getting close enough to "the first big barrage" of hunter ed. students that DCSA will be stocking up on soft drinks and bottled water anyway, so, if desired, I will be glad to load up same and bring in a big ice chest.
That would be a great help. I appreciate you doing that. Any thing is a help. I am expecting a crowd. I was just wondering if I could take a regular offering and preach and count everyone for my attendance on Sunday  . I am paying some of my people to bake some cookies, brownies, etc, and for them to clean the building afterwards. I will have the following drinks. . .
Coke
Diet Coke
Dr. Pepper
Diet Dr. Pepper
Sprite
Water
Coffee

Just for everyone's information Mr. Cotton will be flying in and flying out. I am going to take care of his transportation and motel, but that Airplane ticket will not be cheap. So, let us think real hard about how much we can help him.

ATTENTION: Deadly Force Seminar In DFW AREA

Mr. Cotton has graciously agreed to come to the DFW area on August 17th to teach his Deadly Force Seminar. It will be located at the Fellowship Baptist Church in the auditorium The seminar will begin at 7:00PM. Edit: We can seat 200, but we can always bring out chairs if needed.
Just so folks know. EVERYONE IS INVITED to this seminar. There is NO CHARGE for this seminar - HOWEVER we WILL be taking a "free will" offering. We want to reimburse Mr. Cotton for his expenses. If you could post if you are coming and how many I would like to have an approximate head count. You do not have RSVP, but do not get upset if we run out of drinks and snacks  The Seminar is approximately 2 hours or so long. The website of the Church and direction from Dallas are below:
http://www.fbcirving.com

183E from Dallas. Take the MacArthur exit and turn left (South) about a mile or so you come to Pioneer Dr. There will be a 7-11 on your left and a Fina station on your right. Turn right on Pioneer and we are a half a mile on the right.
1405 W. Pioneer Dr.
Irving, Tx 75061
