My wife had a good night last night and they released her this afternoon. I just got her home and she is back to normal! She is telling me how many dirty dishes I had left in the sink.

Her speech is good. She is a little slow to tell me what she needs or remembering what she was doing Sunday evening before going to the hospital. The doctors at Baylor said all of that should come back slowly and that there shouldn't be any significant damage. In May 2009 she suffered a stroke and I was in Baylor with heart issues. They carried her straight down to the ER where she suffered another stroke. She has lasting damage from those strokes. We are praying and thanking God that this was not worse than it was.

She has been given a blood thinner and we have an appointment with our doctor in Tyler on Thursday. She will be referred to a neurologist. I guess we will know more from there. Baylor mentioned she will need occupational therapy and we would be able to come there for that treatment. That will make it much easier.

I left Mary resting well. She did not have a full blown stroke. She had two TIA today. She is in a lot of blood thinner. She also had a cardiac event.

MRI looks to be good. Her mouth is is dropped to the right a little. Her words today are not as bad as they were last night. She still has very little feeling in her face.

My wife Mary came here to the ER last night at 6:00. They admitted her, but she still doesn't have a room.

They are evaluating her for a stroke. If she has had a stroke this will be the third one. Please pray it is not a stroke and if it is another stroke please pray that there is minimal damage.
