After your post I couldn't stand it that it just worked I had to know if it was a newer one. I guess curiosity. I do however have the newer one.

Just curious has any Forum members had any issues?

I will have to check my G42, but so far I have shot about 100 rounds through it without one single problem. I have only used a few different brands of ammo so far.
