That's what will make the church safer if that is his goal.
I am a Pastor and this is exactly what I do. Our Moderator, Crossfire has held several Texas CHL classes and Utah CFP classses sponsored by my church. Mr. Cotton has been sponsored to teach his seminar there. In fact he needs to come back. I hope reads this. :thumbs2:

Go read all the law and you will see there are exceptions for churches, hospitals, etc...

So, that would mean the pastor, deacon, or anyone on the church staff/board would need to be licensed?

I am the Pastor and I do not see me having to have a license to Pastor my church. It is not going to happen so I guess I am a criminal.

If it is a church sponsored school you can get written permission to carry.

Welcome to the Forum!

Yes you may carry in church if there is not a 30.06 sign and someone who is actual authority (not just a deacon) tells you that you are forbidden to carry. I would not ask anyone if you can or can't I would just keep concealed and carry on.

I am a pastor and I require all of my staff members to have a CHL. :tiphat:
