We were told when speaking and forgetting what we was going to say, just quote Scriptures. I was told that a preacher was performing a wedding and forget the vows and quoted Luke 23:34 in part, "Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do."
I will be using the OP in my next wedding.
