I went to the DFW gun range about 3 months ago to shoot mine and I almost didn't get to shoot much because the workers all wanted to shoot it.
By the way it is a great gun and I have proven mine. I do not feel under gunned with the Shield and an extra mag.

I had absolutely no luck at finding a Shield anywhere. Academy, Cheaper than Dirt, Cabella's, Gander Mountain, etc...

I finally paid extra to a Forum member and bought his because of sure luck he wanted to up grade to an S&W M&P.

For months now I have tried to find another one with no luck.

I am not a Springfield fan so I am not for sure how hard they are to find.

Save yourself some time and gas money by calling them. Ask if they have a Shield and listen to the laughs as thy tell you NO WAY.
