The Old G21 can take old & new mags while the New G21SF can only take the new mags with the extra slot along the front of the mag. The new mags also have the mag catch/release grooves meant for the old G21.

Glock is only making one G21 mag - and they work for both styles of G21.

Old Mags will NOT work in the new G21SF as they do not have the correct mag catch/release groove.


On the other the hand if they are a Generation 4 they will interchange.

The magazines are different. The SF mags will fit the standard frame, but the regular magazines will NOT fit the SF.
