I have always liked the .45 and still do. I purchased my first .40 along with some 180gr ammo from TAM some time back. He suggested to use the 180gr ammo.

After a lot of range time and different targets I decided to switch to the .40 in 180gr. I now alternate carry with a G27 and G23 that I had Cold Bore Customs work over the grip of both pistols. I personally do not notice a snap using the 180gr ammo.
