Re: Zombie Armory
My point is the same why you don't use a .22 for self defense. You don't want it kinda stopped. I want it to drop lice a sack of potatoes. Slow moving or not...a zombie needs to go down for the count b/c you know he brought a few friends with him. Do you want to HAVE to hit them just right with a .22 or blow it to bits and worry about the next one trying to gnaw your face off. Just my apocalyptic two cents.

Re: Zombie Armory
Zombies are not slugs! Taken the head off is the ONLY way. I think a .22 would not do enough damage to stop the staggering threat. Yes it would bounce around but is that little pebble of a bullet really going to be enough to sever the head of an undead? I think not. I think a well placed 9mm or .380 might, but a .22 is a slim chance in my eyes. Bring on the black rifles and shot guns. You don't want it kinda stopped when all it takes is a transfer of bodily fluid and BAM!!! your infected. You want that thing DOWN. That or sit on a roof with a long range set up and some cases of ammo. But you start fairing something like that and you will get all of their attention. You need an acid moat or a bunch of wood chippers around your strong hold to keep them off the structure itself. They are not intelligent, just strength ins numbers. So find a way of neutralizing them in numbers. Think smarter not harder.boomerang wrote:Even 22 ammo is expensive now so I went to HEB and bought a few pounds of salt.
