I'm still trying to find the story about the Trooper.

I'm not implying it isn't factual.

However, a North Las Vegas officer who made the same claim has been arrested for filing a false report.

He had fabricated the entire event and punched the hole with a screwdriver.

I'm reminded of a scene from Support Your Local Sheriff. The mayor hands James Garner a badge dented from a bullet.

"That must have saved the life of whoever was wearing it"

"It sure would have, if it wasn't for all those other bullets flying in from everywhere."
