Every gun on display must be tied by the dealer. Many shows have staff walking the aisles looking for ones that aren't tied or are tied improperly.C-dub wrote:I've never purchased a gun at a show like this. A properly applied tie prevents the action from closing or the hammer from being drawn back.
If staff noticed that you removed a tie while inside the show, you would likely be handed one and asked to tie it again.
