I am tired of defending my faith against generalization and misinformation. There are more than 2 billion Muslims worldwide. They live in peace and they are not waging wars. The terrorists and Islamists do not represent Muslims, otherwise, we are all doomed. Terrorists killed more Muslims than anyone else. If we fight together we will win, if not we are all losing.
Case closed.

To those that do not share your heritage it is difficult to see differences between Islamist, Shia, and Sunni. Do they not all read the same book? All I know is that Shia and Sunni have been killing each other for hundreds of year and Islamists want to kill everyone else.
This thread was initially about the allegiance to the USA of an elected member of Congress who happens to be a Muslim. If she cannot put the American people's best interests ahead of people from other countries who happen to share her religion, then she has no business being in Congress.
Best advice, seek the truth. Not everything you learned while growing up was true. History is said to be written by the conqueror. It is just past 100 years that the last Muslim Sate vanished and all the Arab countries were under occupation anywhere from 30 years to 65 years.
Seek the truth. Knowledge is power.

There was no temple there. If you insist go fight with the Romans who destroyed all your temples.
Muslims destroyed no Synagogue nor a Temple. None, 0.
And hence there is no Roman Empire anymore. Oh, and no Spanish Empire or Thousand Year Reich either as long as we are counting coup. Count yourself lucky that the Romans destroyed the Temple and not the Muslims. Regardless, the Muslims decided to build over the Temple Mount in a futile attempt to finish the job and erase Jewish history. And now while claiming that the Jews "occupy" their own God given Homeland, the facts speak otherwise.
I ask the question once again, when will Islam experience Reformation, join modernity, and learn to live in peace with humanity? I cannot think of a single example where a Muslim country exists adjacent to a non-Muslim country and there is not warfare, violence, and strife.
And Rashida Tlaib is just one more prime example of the bigoted, racist Fakestinians. It’s been over seventy-five years since the Arabs and the Nazis allied against the Jews, and Rashida is siding with the Nazis. She is the best thing that could happen to the DemocRats. Thank God!
I suggest you read some history books about Ottoman State that lasted from late 1400s till 1916. Look how the Jewish people were treated.
BTW, I am defending no one and I do not like Tlaib or her like.

My impression was that Freedom of the 1stA is so great, it would liberate your mind from any oppression.
Palestinians, living under occupation for some 52 years, never enjoyed their freedom.
Credit your buddies in Jordan for teaming up with Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, and Morocco to create that mess.
I Credit all Arabs Governments for the mess. Without freedom one is living under a tyranny.

Our Great Grand Father of all Arabs is Issma'eel the son of Ibrahim (Ishmael son of Abraham) Peace be upon them both.
Arabic is so close to modern Aramaic (Syriac), that those who are still speaking it today are fluent in both languages.
