Re: The SERPA Stinks, And That’s Just All There Is To Say About It
I never had an issue with it, it was only slowing me down at the matches. That is all. Finger is all the time should be straight. I see all the time so many shooters try to tighten their trigger finger as soon as they grip the pistol. That is the case for any pistol in any holster. As an RO at DPC, I am responsible to catch any "glock leg" for any pistol pulled from any holster.

It is an excellent speed holster, sturdy and fully customizable to your pistol and your style of draw. I took my time to experiment with what it can do. Once done, the only thing I needed to do, to get it function flawlessly, is to spray some dry lube on the lock and unlock feature so it works smoothly. It was as if you were diging out a dead body.

Now serpa was banned at DPC, so I ordered this one:Beiruty wrote:So many Glock legs happened with straight up holsters. No tab no nothing. It is the shooter finger after all. I am an RO at the DPC and my eyes are all the time on the trigger finger and no-powder reloaded ammo resulting in a squib.
I did the above fix as not to slow me while drawing up. My grip was pulling up faster than my finger touching the tab.

De-activate the trigger guard lock tab. Added a photo, see abovePawpaw wrote:And exactly what would that fix?Beiruty wrote:Cut a small cardboard notch as large as the latch tab, place it above said tab and tape it with a black electric tape. No more SERPA phobia.
