The only mystery is that why the pilot let plane fly for hours south, instead of a steep dive and instant death.
Why he had the interest of not finding the airplane in the first place. His reputation? Was he protecting someone's eligibility for life insurance?

Why the air force did not send an intercept company?philip964 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 8:19 am https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/ar ... es/590653/
The Atlantic says people on the ground know more than they are telling.

Re: Malaysia Airlines Flight Vanishes
I can only speculate
1) Fire scenario with pilot attempting to put the fire by going to very high altitude and depressurizing the cabin and then diving.
2) Pilot suicide with all on board as casualties

Re: Malaysia Airlines Flight Vanishes
My theory:
All suffocated because of fire/smoke and then lack of oxygen. Plane was depressurized at high altitude to put off the fire. Plane brought back to lower altitude. Fire persisted then died but killed the all communication devices. Plane was put on auto pilot at high altitude. Pilot crews died. Plane run out of fuel and stall and entered into a dive. Plane dived into the ocean intact with some brake up of small pieces and the plan rest into the deep southern Indian ocean.

Re: Malaysia Airlines Flight Vanishes
So many things can float if the plane has crashed in the ocean unless it has landed intact on the water, then, the sonar could have found its signature very easily. I think the possibility that it was landed somewhere cannot be eliminated, but Why?
Maybe Aliens abduct the airplane for experimentations.

Re: Malaysia Airlines Flight Vanishes
Why the airplane has to be flown for 4hrs before landing on water? I would say it is more plausible to have a fire that went under control for some time and then when the pilot put the airplane on autopilot, both the pilot and the co-pilot lost the oxygen supply. A fire in the electronics bay could explain the loss of communication. Also, Rising up to the max altitude could be a way to put off a fire.

Re: Malaysia Airlines Flight Vanishes
My theory, a terrorist hi-jack ended with shooting down the airplane, or using a classified super-secret weapon (biological warfare?), all on board were killed and the airplane crashed in the ocean when it run out of fuel.

"The Australian navy's Ocean Shield, which is carrying high-tech sound detectors from the U.S. navy, picked up two separate signals within a remote patch of the Indian Ocean far off the west Australian coast that search crews have been crisscrossing for weeks. The first signal lasted two hours and 20 minutes before it was lost. The ship then turned around and picked up a signal again — this time recording two distinct "pinger returns" that lasted 13 minutes, Houston said."

Re: Malaysia Airlines Flight Vanishes
I am shocked by the low quality of the released satellite images. Google has 1"/pixel resolution satellite images for its campus. You can ID familiar persons and read License plates if they lay flat on the ground. It is a joke that China and AU has so useless satellite imagery.
Classified US Satellite can for sure have not only still imagery with 1"ppx resolution but live 30fps of the same quality.
US is silent, because they know that the plane is not in the ocean. Why the pilots/hijackers have the intention to fly south?

Re: Malaysia Airlines Flight Vanishes
On the northern/western track, India China and Pakistan have tons of Radars to track anything that pings. Any un-identified blip would result in fighters jet scrambled to intercept.WildBill wrote:Why would military radar track commercial airliners that are not headed into their airspace?Beiruty wrote:The second Billion dollars question:

Re: Malaysia Airlines Flight Vanishes
There are Satellites with Radar on-board. Canada has some of those, I guess US has some more of those and more advanced. They are just in dark side of the space military.
