I don't have enough information to answer.
Options:
1) Draw and engage the active shooter
2) Seek the first exit
3) Seek a hide out and wait for the cavaliers.

I was asked by Srgt. Police officer, if you are in Restaurant, Mall, Place of Worship, and it is an active shooter who just opened fire. What do you do?

The most dangerous situation is when you are out at night, in really bad weather, or surrounded by a mob. Or, combination of the above.

1) Rule number One, never put yourself in a bad situation unless you are force to.
