UPDATE 9:50pm: We have more information in this afternoon's shooting in Southwest Virginia. The Buchanan County Sheriff's Department says four of their deputies were shot and that two have died. We have also learned that the suspect has now been killed. Details are still very limited at this point. We learned more information from Virginia State Police and Sheriff Ray Foster during a news conference this evening.

Here are the facts we have confirmed. Around 2:00pm, the Owner of Rogers Service Center, called about a Larceny in progress. Two Buchanan Sheriff Deputies responded to the call and were on the scene. Sheriff Foster tells News 5, the suspect opened fire, hitting both deputies and that both died from their injuries. The suspect then ran into the woods
