. Red zone opened briefly. Top gun range was open for many years
I am sad to see it closed. It was well run place.

no one will question you. Shoot as you want, if in doubt you can ask. Most likely you will be told to keep your shots low and not flying high and you would be fine.

One thing, I would like them to do is raise the backstop.

I went there in March, with my Son who was visiting from Canada, to sight in my AR at 25 & 50yds.

It is a no hassle, friendly, clean place with chairs, bags and even a spotting scope for your use.

Highly recommended. It's even fun to watch the experts with the high dollar rifles hit the bulls eye at 400 and 500yds!

I was there that day. I am the other Canadian shooting his Sig 556. Your son did a great job with your AR. It was nice meeting you.

Great range, great host. I just wish if the day fee was $10 to $15. I would be there more often.

I went today and had a blast of shooting time. Great facility and very helpful crew.I arrived at 4:00 PM and left by 6:00 PM.
There was a 1 shooter who was shooting long range and was almost done. Virtually I had the the range for myself with the help of the range officer.

I started at 200 yrd,and shooted at paper target that I was given with the entrance fee,First couple shots were to the left. I decided to try to shoot the 8" steel target to get quaified to to shoot at 300 yrd. I hit it 2 times ( enough to be promoted to shoot at 300 yrd) and then another time. I got the get go to try at 300 yrd. Again I hit it 2 times, and then I was asked to hit a third time, which I did . Then, I movd to 400 yrd. The first time, I hit it dead center , I was like

Then, I had hard time hit it again, I was told my shots were low. Whatever I tried it was too hard to hit an 8" plate with moderate wind. Moreover my rifle got very hot and It was geting more windy than I liked. By 6:00 PM was running low on Ammo and I was given the privilige to shoot the last rd at 500 yrd plate (some 40"by 40" ground level and I missed.

I shot some 50 rds and the crew were a pleasure to work with You get a pick up ride from the friing line to the targets. A treat

Next time, I need to have more ammo and more time!

I am interested in giving it a try. I have already zeroed my 30-06 Tikka T3 at 100 yrds and i was grouping less than 1". Now, I need to try 200 and 300!

If anyone interested please let me know. This weekend looks great. weather should be perfect.
