Frisco Gun Club
I drove down Elderado yesterday and noticed that they have broke ground. They had some concrete down, parking and foundation. I also had a chance to visit Eagle Gun Range in Lewisville. TOP NOTCH..Strong on safety, which they should be, but nice about it. Rules are a cross between outdoor ranges and...

Top Gun Shooting Club
I took my 13 yr. old son with me to work on his CAS skills. He told me about 3 months ago that he wants to shoot Cowboy Action. I don't have to tell ya'll how happy this makes me. I put my irons away in '06 to spend more time with the family. We showed up at 10 a.m. and we were welcomed by the owner...

One of the ranges in Frisco is being built by The Bullet Trap (http://www.friscogunclubinc.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, off Eldorado Pkwy) and the other one is being built by the DFW Gun Club (http://www.friscogunclub.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);re...

I shot the same stuff there a few weaks ago. All I shoot is lead. I guess I have no use for that place. :mad5 BSB

Re: Surrendered weapon after Motor Vehicle Accident
I said politely
and I was going under the assumption I already had permition to clear the gun. As did the OP. Or better yet have this done before the audiance shows up. I am not a rebel I just don't see the man taking a handfull of gun parts that most couldn't put back together.

I carry a glock. If that happens to me I will field strip it rendering it usless, put it back in my pocket, and politely tell the officer to buzz off!

Re: Top Gun Shooting Club 500 yd range opened north of McKi
If they were charging 30 a day I would go. Wait I did including my son. Seriosly though, range fees are peanuts compaired to the amount of money I have invested in firearms. If you were starting a range from scratch would you charge less? There is a lot of expenses to just invite people out to shoot...

I took my 12 year old son with me this morning and had a great time. It is only 45 minutes from West Frisco/423. The guys that own/run the range treat you like guest not pest. If you have not been yet, your missing out. I can't wait to go back.

Re: How little is to little.
Thanks for the feedback. I didn't do this on purpose just didn't varify my info before loading......important step. I am just glad I wasn't way off or I would be pulling a lot of bullets. I use to shoot SASS but hard times and distance from clubs has put an end to that. My point is I tend to load on...

How little is to little.
I have not loaded in a while so today I dusted off the Dillon square deal. I checked my notes and loaded 300 rounds as per my load data chicken scratch. I decided to double check the minimun load and I was .3 under. I am loading 45 Colt 200 LRNFP. I was dumping 4.3 grains of Clays and the data reads...
