Re: LCP on the range

Tried my new LCP at the Marksman range today. 100 rounds of Winchester WB. No issues, every round loaded and fired. I'd thoroughly cleaned the pistol with Break-Free prior to firing. It's an easy gun to clean. Just pop one pin and it readily disassembles.

I don't have large hands and I can get a comfortable grip with it, with two full fingers on the grip. No jumping around in my hand. I can see where hand dimensions would be a critical factor for such a small gun. One-handed did seem to work best for me. I had the best shot placement by just "point-and-shoot," without concentrating too much on the very small sights.

Definitely a very nice compact pistol, IMHO. Once I got used to such a small package making such a big sound and noticeable recoil, it was just fine to fire. Very lite, small, well made and it works. If you can live with it's caliber, it's practicality is hard to beat, again just MHO. I can see why it's so popular.
